Size Guide

Four numbers,one good fit

Leather does not forgive a bad guess the way cotton does. Take a tape to your chest, shoulders, sleeve and length once, write them down, and you will never order the wrong size again. Small through 2XL as standard, and anything outside that we cut to you.

How to take the four

Wear a shirt, not a jumper. Keep the tape level and snug, never pulled tight.

A

Shoulder

Across the back, from the bony point of one shoulder to the other.

B

Chest

Around the fullest part, under the arms, tape level all the way round.

C

Sleeve

From the shoulder point down the outside of a slightly bent arm to the wrist bone.

D

Length

From the base of the collar seam straight down to where you want the hem to sit.

The charts

Jacket chest is the finished garment. Fits body chest is the measurement to compare against your own. Between two sizes, take the larger one.

Jacket length may vary slightly by style. Switching region changes the size label and the unit, not the garment. A 40 inch chest is 40 inches everywhere, it is simply named differently. For custom sizes, you supply your measurements after the order is placed.

Worth knowing

The things that decide whether a jacket fits or nearly fits.

01.Between two sizes

Go up. Leather has no give across the shoulders, and a jacket that is slightly generous can be worn over a jumper. One that is slightly tight cannot be fixed.

02.Measure the jacket, not the body

Our charts are jacket measurements. Measuring a jacket you already own gives you that jacket's accurate cut.

03.Think about what goes underneath

Ordering for shirts alone is different from ordering for knitwear. Tell us which and we will point you to the right size.

04.Leather relaxes, it does not stretch

A full-grain jacket softens and moulds to you over a few weeks. It will feel more like yours, but it will not become a size larger.

05.Not sure? Send us the numbers

Email your body measurements (chest, shoulder and sleeve) and we will tell you which size we would cut for you. It takes us minutes and saves you a return.

06.Custom pieces cannot be returned

A jacket cut to one person's measurements cannot be resold, so custom orders are final. Please check your numbers carefully before you confirm the sizing to our sizing master.
